The Festive Flamingo is currently under construction. Our spacious 6BR Florida vacation home should open August 2026. Stay tuned!
Below are eight local Palm Coast & Flagler Beach attractions that are close to the Festive Flamingo. We hope you enjoy exploring our East Coast Florida attractions.
The world’s first oceanarium, Marineland Dolphin Adventure, is where kids can see up close what a 1.3 million-gallon series of dolphin habitats looks like. There is a slew of interactive programs to continue learning outside the classroom with the marine life on-site, and if you want to get hands-on, the family can do a one-of-a-kind guided swim with these gorgeous creatures! Beyond dolphins, your kids will be wowed by the sea turtles, tortoises, sand tiger sharks, fish, coral and more that live here. As you wander through the exhibits, learn fun facts about the animals, listen to a daily shark talk, count the colorful fish, and see if anyone in your crew can spot a moray eel.
Marineland Dolphin Adventure also serves as a fun history hot spot. It was an underwater filming studio for Hollywood movies, the first place to train dolphins and has a beautiful collection of photos and stories from the area’s earliest days.
The always innovative Florida Agricultural Legacy Learning Center is beginning drive-through tours in mid-to-late August 2020. See a fully restored 1890s pioneer homestead and a dry goods store from the early 1900s from the safety of your car. The museum also has five restored buildings from a 1930s Depression-era citrus operation and a 5,000-sq.-ft. dairy barn formerly belonging to Millard Caldwell, a former governor of Florida. Trail riding and horseback lessons are also available on-site.
